In the same vein as appetizers, tapas are a typical, traditional mini-dish like an appetizer or snack. (Check out: Galician Oddities) It's normally free with your order of drink like soda or spirits (Check out: Drinks). As soon as you order your glass of Albariño, you will get a little food for free. What a treat!
There are also other specialty tapas you can buy open-faced bread tapas “pinchos” like you can find at the zona vieja like at O Bispo. I’d stick to the freebies and then venture to the for-sale.
