Millennials

An empty

Promise another

Time I consider

And refuse to beg

You chipped egg

The whites spill down your legs

I'm the rag

Can I ask what

Your plan was

And did it change in

The course

Of your addiction

To unhappiness?

You've tried to patch and paint

Yourself a new

Colour you

Pretend to change

But you're always armed

Firing at close range

Cancellations

Evasion and

That omnipresent lag

You're the cracked egg

The façade

With a sag

Perched on the ragged edge

Where your ice's

Yolky burden melts

Off the precipice
